I just picked up a new 1.2ghz 'bird for a new system build, and it is a "AVIA" chip. I am familiar with the popular "AXIA" chips, but I haven't heard anything about these? Anyone with any info? I will be testing it's limits soon on a KT7A-R, and I will post my results. The complete markings are below...it's a "B" Athlon, not a "C".

A1200AMS3B
AVIA0108DPCW
Y6057450444

It appears to be a week 8, 2001 chip. Anyone have experience with these? Thanks in advance..

AVIA chips are supposed to be great. They are kind of like the AXIA equivelent in the B chips (100 fsb) but peeps are gettin em REALLY HIGH. bonkers325 had a bunch of 1gigz avias @1.45 and up.

YOUVE GOT A SCORCHER THERE, BE CAREFUL!

btw: what store did you buy your chip from?
