Averatec 4.3lb Notebook - $799 After Rebate

This notebook has gotten very bad reviews/complaints. Loud fan, horrible battery life, hard drive clicking noises, and issues with pixels on the screen.
 
these are rather nice laptops for those on the go. My only complaint about these are its tendencies to "get" dead pixels. My friend has 3 right now and he is a very careful guy and has had it for only 2-3 months. The screen is bright and vivid... its just those damn dead pixels that piss me off.

Edit: 3 dead pixels... not 3 laptops.... : P
