Average pc temps

I'm sort of new to this whole OCing and I just had a quick question. I currently have an e4500 with the freezer pro 7 HSF. My temps while just surfing the new and listening to music are are 33-34 C. Is that about average?

Those are good idle temps. Load temps are more important though. Run Orthos for a while and see what your load temps get to. Use CoreTemp to monitor.

Only a few minutes (5-10) will give you top temp, or within a few degrees of it. Any more is just testing for stability. You have plenty of temperature room to overclock if you so choose. Generally, the max load temp is 25c from TjunctionMax (yours is 100c), so 75c is the maximum you want to let it get. For normal use, I try to keep mine <60c because I fold @ home 24/7.

I'd try staying below 70-75C under load, but temps don't scare me too much, since i know the majority of OEMs ship their systems w/ quads that load around 80C or higher.
