Average Marks Using 3dMark03 with x800pro

I recently got a x800pro, i was wonder what 3dmark03 score i should be getting around, right now i am only getting 9649. Seems low to me what you think

I think that's a good score.
my 9800 Pro scores 6000 flat with 3dmark03 with an Athlon64 3200+
Id say you are doing good.

Sounds about right.

The fact that you're running on a "B" and not a "C" P4 is probably holding you back, as is your DDR speed (only 310 MHz) and the fact that you're probably not running dual channel with 768MB either, which really helps the P4.

I have Asus k8vse MoBo, AMD 64 3200+, 1Gb PC3200 RAM, 160GB Maxtor 7200rpm HDD, x800 pro. my benchmarks, (once anandtech people advised me to install correct chipset drivers!!!) Are as follows:

20546.00 3dmark01
9940.00 3dmark04
52345 aquamark3.0


that was on the 4.8 CATS. not tried it with the 4.9 yet.

As a wise tech guy once told me. benchmarks mean very little if you're enjoying the speed your computer runs games. why try to aim higher than the game supports?!

tho he told me this before doom 3!!!!

Oh ok thanks, i suspected it was a memory problem but never knew my cpu wasnt fast enough tho i knew it is slower compared to what is out right now
