Anyone know the average age? Maybe any polls done? Just based on some of my conversations, it appears there are a lot of kids here. PLEASE tell me this isn't a kids' site.

Considering you have a ton of posters that registered in the early 2000's it's probably a healthy mix of adults and younger adults.

Well, I'm polymerized tree sap and you're an inorganic adhesive, so whatever verbal projectile you launch in my direction is reflected off of me, returns on its original trajectory and adheres to you!

Not sure registering age means much sometimes, but ya. :)

There are plenty of old, grumpy *edit kranky* SOB's hanging out :p

That tends to happen, here and there.

Don't base your thinking too hard on a couple of people OP.

Just hang out and enjoy the place.

Oh, I'm not. It would just clear up some things for me is all. Might want to watch my fucking mouth and go to bed earlier. ;)

Seriously, it occurred to me that maybe this is like facebook in the early days and maybe I was expecting more from the members than I had a legitimate right to

That's all.

Cheers everyone.

I'm not sure exactly what you were expecting as I don't know what 'Facebook in the early days' had... but you shouldn't expect much from here. Our menu is small here. We specialize in where to order bulk beef, how to tip properly, how to stay single until 52 years old, and maybe some tips on building a computer or something. Aside from that, we don't offer any other services. If you PM Mayne he may tell you where the cheapest bud light in Canada is. PM Naer and you'll find what store is having a sale on Whiteout and Sharpies. Other than that, we're useless scum. Good luck in your travels.

I just learned from Cosmos that that is about the age of the Earth!

If we're counting constituent atoms though, we're a lot older than that. I don't think there's any way of knowing when the (last) supernova that created all our elements heavier than sodium would have happened, but it would have been a long time before our solar system began to form.

13.8 billion is the age of the universe, not the Earth.

I tried to find an estimate of when the first stars where going supernova, but ultimately decided the joke wasn't worth more than 45 seconds of research.

There was a thread not that long ago in OT with a poll where people reported which age group they were in.
