Average ACT score by school

Does anyone know of a website that lists the average ACT score for incoming freshman at different schools. I dont even remember how this came up but me and my dad have been trying to figure this out and we cant find it anywhere. We are mainly interested in Illinois schools.

The only places I've ever seen that information listed is on the schools' websites themselves. Someone might've gathered all that and stuck it somewhere, but I've never come across it.

Yeah, Ive noticed that. ACT's website itself will rank the schools by ACT but wont give you the actual school.

Barron's guide to Universities or wahtever it's called. My parents bought a fat 3000 page book or however thick it was by BArrons and it listed every major university, their SAT averages, ACT averages, etc. But I'm sure a lot of schools don't have ACT info simply because.. WHO THE HELL TAKES THAT TEST? Ok, maybe I'm just saying that because I'm a west coast kid, and I did take it because I hoped I could do better on it than in my SATs, but out of all my friends, I know like 2ppl who took it total.

Midwest is mostly ACT - I don't know of any of my friends that took the SAT.

NY... ACT? I see announcements for it all the time, but I didn't think kids actually took it.

Yeah, it really depends on where you live. For the most part, the SAT is bigger on the two coasts (it was piloted largely in the northeast, I believe), and the ACT is more popular in the midwest and in some southern states (such as here in Louisiana).

I was told that ACT was better if you did bad on the SAT. So I guess it makes sense that it would be more popular in the midwest...
