Shepard fight reapers, dies, is reborn, reapers win, universe destroyed. Thantos = reapers, Avengers fight Thantos, lose, universe destroyed. The only difference is the Avengers havent been brought back to life yet, but for sure they will be. You know the producers are not going to let billion dollar franchises die permanently.

well yeah, but bringing them back is also because that has long-been part of the story. 😀 The power of the Infinity Gauntlet is such that whoever wields it can will anything in the universe they wish to be, including un-making anything that has previously happened.

Comics. :\

All I know is that if that comes down to a scrub like Iron Man wielding the gauntlet, then I would be annoyed. ...but at least they have already established that very few can handle it as is, so likely Peter Quill, because he is a demi-god in this MCU

Was I the only one that was rooting for Thanos throughout the entire movie?
yeah, once i saw that scene were Iron Man asked Iron Spider to help remove the gauntlet.
WTF?
iron man has near hulk level strength.
what could scrawny iron spider do?

after that face palm, i couldn't wait for thanos to snap his fingers

I've been rooting for him since the 70s. In the movies I started the moment he grinned in the Avengers.

It sucks that Hulk didn't show up once after his beatdown by the purple pimp.

another problem: Banner could have just killed himself to force the Hulk to rush out. It works, and he did it in the Thor flick. He seemed a bit desperate to make Hulk appear, but forgot the easiest way to do it.

I like to consider that it's nice to be able to read a movie thread to get simple opinions on a movie without spoiling the movie. As for older movies, what if someone just never saw a movie for whatever reason? For example, someone on this forum spoiled The Usual Suspects for me, and now I have no desire to watch it. Why hadn't I watched it? No one had directly brought it up to me nor had I ever stumbled across it. Frankly, I don't think it's hard to toss spoiler tags or click to show them, and if it can help someone out, then why not? It isn't hurting me, and it's potentially better for someone else.
Really, someone spoiled the Usual Suspects for you on here?

If you go into a thread topic of said movie and don't think there is a good chance for it to be spoiled, that's on you, not the people posting in it.

So did anybody else see these tweets?

Russo brothers sent out a note from Thanos about keeping Infinity Wars plot secret and Ryan Reynolds spoofed it. Russo brothers sent back this tweet.

Except it wasn't in a thread on that specific movie, and assuming that everyone has seen it just because it has been out is a pretty poor assumption. Frankly, I consider the "it's been out for long enough" excuse to be a piss-poor way for someone to feel better for having spoiled the movie, because they can't take two seconds out of their day to consider "Oh, hey... maybe he/she hasn't seen this?", and rather than apologizing like a normal human being with empathy, they make an excuse for it. 😡 Look, I'm not going to lose any sleep over having a movie spoiled, but going around with lame excuses is going to annoy me far more than knowing the ending. 😕

Wow you sound like a lot of fun to hang around with. We are talking about a movie that came out in 1995. Let that sink in and re-evaluate who should be upset with whom.
I have another one for you, in Jaws, they kill the shark.

...and you start with a veiled ad hominem attack... you're off to a great start in an attempt to make a logically sound argument. 😉

Where's the argument? Find anyone that agrees with your stance. Someone spoiled a 23 year old movie, time to make some posts about it on the internet so everyone knows how much of a victim I am.

I agree with him. Using spoiler tags requires little effort. I used spoiler tags in the movie review thread recently for a film from 1985. Shocking newsflash: Not everyone has seen the same films you have.
