I can't believe how shit the ATOT database is. It's the only forum I use that goes down for daily maintenance, and is also the only forum that has long-lasting issues like no avatars and no search function.

Dank i still see your avatar... You must be the chosen one! You are the only one not afflicted with the avatar destroying virus. You must go back in time to a few days ago and stop the virus before it ever got started! Unless of course sending you back in time was what started the virus in the first place 😳 Only one way to find out... I wish you luck friend :thumbsup:

Seriously i think avatars are disappearing, i remember being able to see Zaps yesterday now i cant. All i can see is Danks avatar which led me to the above conclusion.

it's spotty for me. Either a broken image icon (Chrome on Win7 at home), or a "link to the [member's] avatar" on FF 5.0 on OS X at work.

broken for my avatar on Chrome, wasn't broken on FF at work earlier today, but now it is.
 
using opera at home or IE8 at work i only randomly see avatars, and then its only the default ones. in this thread using opera i see 1 avatar (dank69). same in FF
 
Here is my take . . . Custom Avatars are out. Canned ones from the upper two folders are in. Is this a policy change or a software glitch? BSOM!

Mine is because I changed to a canned avatar. I went to my profile and my custom avatar was gone. (my photo.) I tried to restore it, i.e, upload it, and it would not go.

This all started on Friday the 13th. Go figure. 🙂

Ah, but did you upload an image via the forums or did you insert a link to said avatar. I think the database or something on AT's end is getting more an more borked so you can't use uploaded ones, but obviously if they're hosted externally and you just use the URL for the avatar it should work fine.
