I still think it will suck but let's wait and see.

For Cameron's sake it better not suck or this will be his Waterworld. I doubt the studios are going to make much of a profit off it considering the 500 million they sunk into it.

Ummm....try a little lower... maybe half... maybe less than half... say $237 million.

My brother operates a theater... I intend to be at the after-hours, employees-only, pre-screening the day before it opens. Even if I have to kill someone for him.

Sadly this would actually legitimately explain the popularity of abominations such as Transformers 1 and 2.

I was excited for Transformers 2, I wanted to see robots hit each other in glorious HD... until the critics destroyed it. 19% at RT. No matter how excited I am for a movie, if it gets universally panned I'm not watching at a theater.

But Avatar is 100% so far (with nods from Variety and Hollywood Reporter), so I am doing yes cartwheels over here.

CGI looks cartoony and choopy, story looks contrived and unoriginal - yeah we get it colonization is a bad thing. Oh and don't forget British are weird like Japanese without the sex, may not play well here.

BAH Popular looking movie with CG it will be terrible
cry cry whine
No plot too much FX
/atot

Did I do it right?

Huh interesting well we'll see soon what kind of profit it makes. I still say it looks like it stinks 🙂

Yeah, I wasn't too impressed by the trailers myself, but I have a feeling it will be the most promising movie I can convince my friends to go to next weekend though I am more interested in Bodyguards & Assassins.

King Kamehameha pose > Yes Cartwheel. Also, the band Yes > Yes Cartwheel.

Also, I'm guessing the 3d glasses aren't those shitty red lens blue lens things?
