Either way... YAWWWWN.
The only thing that made the first "good" (and I use that term loosely) was the eye candy. The story/acting was abysmal. Going to be pretty hard to wow us 4 more times with eye candy.

It's CGI eyecandy with an average sci-fi/almost fantasy plot. Fern Gully but with mercenaries and blue aliens is the most apt description.
It's a good Bluray movie, at least. I thought the writing and acting were decent, but the movie didn't leave much of a lasting impression.
