I needed a program to moniter the voltages, fans, and temps on my AV40 but couldn't find one that would specifically work with this motherboard. As suggested in another forum, I'm using MBM but the voltage readings are wrong (12v reads 13.4v in MBM but measures 12.13 with a VOM at the IDE connectors), and a couple of others don't look right. MBM doesn't agree with the volt/temp/fan readings in BIOS, either, so I have to assume that MBM is reading from a different page than BIOS. None of the other sensors available in the MBM dropdown come even close. Any suggestions?

The system will occasionally hang and I'll have to reboot. It happened this morning while I was checking email and Anandtech before work. When I rebooted the system, I took a look in bios at the cpu voltage. I had it set for 'default' and it had detected and set up for 1.70v. Bios was reading 1.69v so I figured it was correct. However, when I got to work, I checked Intel's site and they specify 1.75v for all three S-Spec 478 pin P4-1.5 processors they list so I'm wondering if my board is unique or if all AV40s mis-detect. I'm going to set the voltage to 1.75 tonight and see if it will stop the hangs.

Thanks for any insight/suggestions you may offer!
