Got one for my son a few weeks ago and the text is SO sharp! Man, that is one nice piece of work.

His is set to 1024x768, true color at about 82Mhz or so. There are so many geometric settings it isn't even funny! One of them must be able to get yours square. My son's is perfectly aligned on all four sides and I can't even bitch about the focus on the edges. That tube is primo!

Hey, maybe you got a bad one, but it would be worth getting it replaced. I can't imagine a much better picture for the price!

Oh, I don't know. He's in bed now, so I won't be able to screw with it till tomorrow. I don't believe we had to take it too far from default in any direction.

Check back in about 8 hours. I'll see what's what with the whole thing. I love to look at it and mess with it, but it makes me jealous I don't have one. Still limping along with my old Sony 200ES ;)

Not sure what to tell ya, now. The only setting that strayed far from 50% was the parallelogram at 63%. You've got to be able to tweak it in with the settings I'm seeing on here. I think you'll be playing with the pin cushion, side-pin and pin balance adjustments.

I think the last setting is recall. See if that takes you closer to a square screen for starters. Just bumped it from 75Hz to 85Hz and the screen shrunk a bit. Bumped up the zoom to 72% and horizontal size to 72% to bring it back to full corner to corner coverage. It's using a V3 2000 too, if that makes a difference...
