Hello, has anyone used this software that allows you to connect your computer to your car. You need a serial connection to an OBD II connector which connects to your car. I have the software AutoTap which allows you to diagnose codes in your car for problems and also allows you to reset trouble lights.
I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get the serial to OB II connector?

The cable is the expensive part. They'll sell you the software/cable pkg for $300, but the replacement cable is like $299.

thanks, i looked at those 200 dollar models, i was wondering if someone just sold the cable....haven't had luck combing the net for one
