Autoplay not working

Hello,

As described in the subject, autoplay doesn't work. Every time I insert a CD in the drive, it just sits there. I'm not sure if autplay worked before, but I would surely like to get it back. Any pointers? My CDROM is a CD-R/RW made by Panasonic 8x/4x/32x.
