I guess im in the car mood today. List some automobile slang you've heard tossed around...



Rice mobile: Cars with stickers and huge spoilers that only make the car look like it goes faster.

Hooptie: ghetto car...you know that old Ford you bought for $300 just to get around.

Beamer: BMW brand automobile (right?)

4-banger: car with a 4 cylinder engine.. (once again i'm not sure if i'm right on this one)

Boat-huge luxury car, usually from before 1990 (luxury cars started getting smaller) with shocks mushy enough to make you sea sick when the thing goes over a bump

Speaking of which, if things like old ford crown vics are boats, I drive a battle ship. '81 Caddilac Fleetwood Brougham. The thing is about 2 feet longer than our van and a few inches wider too.

That may apply for some cars, but there are alot of &quot;rice&quot; that will kick any cars ass.

Rice since I hand around with the old crew the ORIGIONAL meaning of it is a import car from japan if it's all stickers or all performace thats what rice REALLY is.

For some reason Rice and the US don't go together but WOW japan and rice work... STRANGE!! :Q

That may apply for some cars, but there are alot of &quot;rice&quot; that will kick any cars ass.

I'd say any is a pretty bold statement.

Especially when you take into account that the fastest FWD car there is can't touch the RWD cars that consistently run faster (i.e. every race, every week) then they ever do, and when all the NHRA records are held by american cars (if not all 99%).

Just go to the NHRA site, check the times, then go to the NHRA import site, and see the facts.

I love foreign cars (Japanese in particular), and drive one, but let's be realistic here. No matter how great you think they are. There is not one &quot;rice&quot; car out there that can kick &quot;any&quot; cars butt. Sorry.
