automatic reboot

I am using P4 2.8c@3.5, pc4000 and ati 9800pro/xt.

When i try to play half life 2, the system just reboot itself.

it is because it is too hot.

what happen?

What are your system temperatures?

You might also want to run mem-test to determine if you have poor memory. Furthermore, the problem could also be your PSU. If you have an extra psu, maybe swap them out to see if thats the problem.

try to move your case so air can vantilate, and stop any OCing you might have applied, both to the RAM, CPU, and video card

cpu temp is 34
case temp is 39C

right now.

i am using ocz pc4000 for oced.

i didnot use pc4000 to oced.

so just return everything to default speeds and see if it still restarts

oh also, if you happen to BT, it has been known that BT causes random restarts

when i use default cpu speed is okay and enough when i use bt?

regular speed of pc4000 is ddr 250 so it is normal .

i am only oced my cpu to 3.5 .

i think it is just my psu that is not stable.

BT has known to crash windows randomly... no matter what version you use

and i'd just stop OCing the CPU for a week and see if it still restarts randomly
