The Silverstone looks like the nicer of the two but is out of stock.

Have you considered SpeedFan or letting your BIOS control your fans? You will get much more accurate readings then any external sensor could give you.

Have you tried SpeedFan?
Depending on your mobo, you could already have 3 PWM controller
(2 if you have sucky MSI Neo4 SLI like mine)

Thanks for the replies.

I have not tried SpeedFan. I am awaiting my new system to arrive in the mail sometime the following week. Been using a hand-me-down of a hand-me-down pc for _far_ too long. Trying to research automatic fan controllers n' such before it arrives so I can slap one in there.

I'll read up on SpeedFan.

Also been looking at a Sunbeam Smart Fan Pyrism Controller:

Seems to do the job without taking up a bay slot.

The Motherboard is an Asus A8N SLI Deluxe *

I wouldn?t waste time & money on that Sunbeam thing....

That Asus board has two fan headers that can be controlled via Asus's Q-Fan BIOS controls. The CPU and one system fan, the one closest to the exhaust location. I'm fairly certain it is also supported by SpeedFan.

Okay, so I now have SpeedFan... but I'm a bit confused.

Here is what it reads after a few hours of gaming:

Temp1: 41C
Temp2: 41C
Temp3: 29C
Temp: 127C (flame icon)
Temp: 127C (flame icon)
Hd0: 46C
Tempu1: 40C

How do I know what the parts each temp is? And what's up with the 127C! ack.

Thanks!
