Automatic batch ID3 tagging software?

Here is my issue.
I've had MP3's on my computer over 10 years.
Since before all the great ID3 tagging.
having about 30k MP3s makes it extremely cumbersome to try and update and correct all ID3 tags for my library so they are finally displayed correctly in player apps

Including live recordings and CDs that weren't imported by me.

Is there any software out there that I could run as a job that can scan my music files, look at the file name of the song and the path and do the logic to determine the artist, song title and album? even just to suggest one and ask for my confirmation?

For example.

c:.....\Music\Ween\Unknown Album\Ween - ocean man.mp3

just looking at the file it says ween- ocean man.mp3

is there an app that can take this file information and use this to look at the freedb or whatever database and determine the correct album and track number.. add this info to the ID3 data as well as correct anything else that is wrong.. such as capitalizing the first letters.

Does anything like this exist?

In Media Monkey I can select specific files, have it check the web, and its usually pretty accurate. but was wondering if I can do the entire library and have it all run at once and even detect the unknowns.

Thanks for any help. It will save me weeks of scrolling manually through each song and having to type in the correct information

Try Tagscanner. It's a little awkward at first, but once you get used to it the program is very simple. Also offer an option to export tag to excel for editing.
