Automate NNTP Download

quick question.
i want to automate downloads of howard stern broadcasts when they come out in the newsgroups for the day on my home computer so i can then download them to work and listen to them.
i've searched google, but have been unsuccessful. i may not know what to look for.
does anyone have any programming solutions? i can stumble through perl which i know has an nntp module. i just need some reference.

I use Newsrover. You configure the newsgroup(s) you want, tell it what you want it to suck down (text, binaries, file names, whatever) and how often you want it to run and it does it.
