Anyone here know of a way i can have my computer shut its self down auomatically by running a shortcut or something? I want to be able to double click an icon and then 2 hours latter, when my pc's finished with something, turn off. Any Ideas?

Depending on your OS, there's shutdown.exe in $windir\system32. If you just type "shutdown" from a command prompt, it will show you a list of options. You could create a shortcut to that with the appropriate switches, and set the timer to however many seconds are in two hours.

I just tried that trick and it did not work, didnt do anything but pop up a window for a split seconf and then nothing. i had the shortcut set as shutdown [-t 5] as a test.
