Dang we got as lot of snow last night. I was planning on doing some stuff today, looks like it will have to be over the phone now. What questions should I have for the dealership exactly? I am about to give my insurance company a call too.

Well I just got off the phone with the insurance company.

My current policy has 2 cars both with liability only, a 1989 Olsmobile Cutlass Ciera and a 1990 Ford Tbird super coupe. I asked him what effect it would have if I removed the Tbird and added the '97 Nissan 200SX. He said with full coverage the premium will go up about 270.00 for 6 months. We are currentlly paying about 440.00 for the 2 cars now, does that sound like a decent quote? This is through allstate.

Is it wise to call the dealer or should I just go out there and look at the car and then ask questions.

I always call the dealer beforehand and set an appointment if I want to make sure that they have a particular car on the lot. Otherwise, you might be wasting your time, and they will always try to push into a car you don't want.

While 700 is a very good score, you will still have to be qualified on income first. I strongly suggest getting a pre-approval from your bank or credit union before going to the dealership.

Well I gave the dealer a call and he said he doesn't see the car on the lot. He said it was still in the computer, but he thinks it may have been sold. How long does it take for carfax to get the title info, cause as of yesterday it had not been titled toa new owner. ANyways he is supposed to call me back later when he finds out some info.

In the mean time I am still trying to find other cars I like, but it seems like a lot of the mid 90's cars are fugly. AT least the ones I ahve seen so far. I don't have to have the flashiest car in town, but I don't want some ugly car, or one that looks like its 20 years old when its actually only 8.
