Ok, some of you might remember that I totalled my '97 I30 in February. At that time, while I was on my family policy, I paid about $160 / month for insurance with a perfect driving record.
My father was upset because having me on the policy was going to jack up his insurance, so I left his insurance and joined State Farm who (surprisingly, with my 2 week old totalled accident) insured my 1998 Infiniti QX4 for $127 / month.
Now I'm selling my QX4 (gas mileage isn't the best) so I called the State Farm 24 hour customer service number and they gave me quotes on some cars I'm looking at:
1994 Lexus ES300: $116 month
1998 Lexus ES300: $123 month
1998 Infiniti QX4: $127 month(Current car)
1995 Lexus SC400: $131 month
1995 Lexus GS300: $134 month
2000 Avalon XLS: $134 month
1999 Infiniti I30t: $135 month
2000 Ford Mustang GT convertible: $141 month
I asked about the Mustang GT for the hell of it because all of my quotes were soclose in price... and the GT was no different. I'm impressed, makes me want to buy a Mustant GT! =)
