Nahh... Gold Coast is a horrable place... to many tall buildings.. you can't sit on the beach in the afternoon coz they shaed the beach! Further North is good... Nimbin is a good place... Melbourne and Perth are good cities. Sydney is more like London... dis-organised and smelly. Byron Bay is a great place also. Port Douglas is nice... bloody nice!!! Gippsland is good....

I'll keep that in mind the next time I go. 😀 The waves were nice though. I had a nice time there. Sydney is friggin expensive to live in.

I haven't heard anything about Optus taking the cable internet away from us... I am using it at home right as a type... It is supposed to be the fastest cable internet service in the world... so I heard. I can beleive that though... just last night I was downloading at 700-800k per second... kicks but! I have to say that there is no way I could EVER go back to a dial up connection... they suck.

Nice to see so many fellow Australians are here. I was a bit worried that I was all on my own here.🙂

So what do all you guys do? Are you all in the IT industry?

I work for a company providing network and cabling solutions... we import and sell stuff to the major companies here... ie. BCA IT, Volante, CSC... and so on. We also distribute KVM switches and stuff for Raritan, Cybex, Aten and Australians own ServerLink... which by the way is a very good KVM switch.

Anyhow... I better get back to it.... LOL 😉
