LOL... no I just haven't seen any other Aussies on Anandtech in the time I have spent here... I thought I might put out some feelers to see if people in this country know about this forum.

CSFM, I'm in the IT industry, work for Unisys West in WA (called Unisys over east).

As for Melbourne, nope, don't like it. It smells 🙂, people drive super dangerously (semi-trailers passing you uphill on a four lane highway when you are going 100 km/h is VERY scary!) and you call your beers in the pubs "pots"! WTF is up with that??? They are called MIDDY'S!!! 🙂 🙂

I working the outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I work for a company called Dueltek... we are into networking, cabling and alike.

I had king prawns on the BBQ for Christmas lunch just last year... but never shrimps... we put them on pizzas!!!

As for pots of beer.... I like to drink pints! LOL... you can never get enough beer into one glass I say! 😛

I lived in Perth in 1994 for about 6 months... I loved the place... I was working part time living in Wembley and surfed the rest of the time... nice place to be for a while.... a little too slow for me though... although Northbridge can be allot of fun on a Saturday night.
