Australian citizenship test too difficult

Apparently a 10% failure rate on the 20 question test is very high, and the test is "onerous, ambiguous, and completely antithetical to the traditional Aussie spirit of inclusion and a fair go for all."

Wow so somehow having a test with a 90% pass rate creates a permanent underclass of non-citizens. Why even have a test at all if they feel that it should be modified to have an even higher pass-rate?

How hard could a test on Australia be? It's probably just questions like "How many toes does a Koala have?" and "Is that a knife?"

and "how many Crocodile Dundee movies were there?"

it just seems hard because the American one is so easy...."how many states" "how many amendments are in the bill of rights?" etc

NSW Anti-Discrimination Board president Stepan Kerkyasharian is critical of the test's content, saying it should rely less on culture and more on practical knowledge about Australia

never a good thing.
