Seems to be a good year for Hollywood. Seems to be a better year for movies than most I can remember

That's Cheap illegal bastard, perhaps you should edit your post accordingly?
:D

Yeah no joke! Whoops! Lol...

Haven't seen it, don't plan to. If it was anything like the first two, it sucks to me. I believe in second chances, not thirds. ;)

I'm not surprised that it made so much, but after watching that movie yesterday........I was really disappointed. I mean, I didn't expect an intellectually stimulating movie, but I also didn't expect to see such a display of "if it ain't wrong...". I thought that Mike Meyers and others would attempt to do something more original...instead the stupidity of it all really drained me. I mean, I laughed, and it was a consistently funny movie...but something's always dramatically less funny the second time around, which is what all the jokes seemed to be.

Yes, I know that they made light of it IN the movie, but that doesn't make it right. ^_^

I can see movies for free, so I watch most everything. Saw Austin Powers and Eight Legged Freaks Wednesday. Austin Powers was pretty good; above average. The spider movie was just plain terrible; stay away.

its mixed, some people like it, some really hate it:p

In its second weekend, Harrison Ford's submarine drama K-19: The Widowmaker sank 43% to an estimated $7.3M putting its ten-day cume at $25M. Carrying a reported production budget of about $100M, the Paramount release should find its way to an underwhelming $45-50M.

Also enjoying a strong hold was the family film Stuart Little 2 which eased just 29% to an estimated $10.7M in its sophomore frame. Sony's talking mouse pic has nibbled on $34.8M in ten days and looks headed for the neighborhood of $75M - a far cry from Stuart Little's $140M domestic haul.
