Got it in yesterday late afternoon. Only played with it for an hour, with the TV tuner and the VGA input + audio. It works fine so far. Will have to see if it can take a straight up HDMI input, or if it tries to scale it like most HDTVs. I haven't noticed any dead/stuck pixels, not that I looked hard. The plastic does look painted, as mentioned in a user review. It is rather thick so don't get this if you want a sexy slim LCD. Showed up without the stand installed, which takes the 5 included screws. Has mounting holes on back for wall mounting. It was shipped in the original box by Newegg so NOT double boxed. Nothing broke except for some of the foam pieces which did their job protecting the screen. Viewing angles are really good. Sound is mediocre, but this is really the first time I've used a screen's built-in speakers since forever ago, since I usually use real speakers and a receiver. The cable TV input was difficult to screw in because the cable has to make a slight bend. The channels didn't seem to pick up all that my Time Warner leased cable box gives, plus it numbered them different. I have more than just the basic package with Time Warner, so I'm guessing it probably picked up only the basic channels and not the extra stuff that my package gives. It was really slow in doing the initial channel scan. I basically had to walk away from it for a while - don't remember exactly how long, maybe 15-30 min. Yes, that slow. However, only have to do that once (I hope). Audio input is a 3.5mm stereo. VGA input looked great. Stand doesn't tilt, but does allow rotation a bit.
