Aureal Advantage chipset soundcard and Win2K problem

I bought a IOMagic V1 sound card 2 years ago which sports an Aureal Advantage chipset. It worked perfectly in win98SE, but in win2k, it will stop the sound and slow down the system after 5 minutes of usage (usually from mp3, or CS). Help me find a good working driver under Win2k SP2 please.

this is a known problem with win2k and someone found a way to fix it. check out vortexofsound.com for the last good copy of drivers for aureal cards and i will search for that fix.
