My wife gets all emotional sometimes, and when she does I say "Are you PMSing or something?" and I usually either get "I dunno but I shouldn't be" or "Yeah I guess so". She's a very rational person 99% of the time, so she recognizes when she's being irrational. Only once did I bring it up and got chewed out, but that's once over a long period of time, and we had already been fighting.

I asked her once when we were at the in-laws and her Mom's chin almost hit the ground in shock, and then further when she didn't get mad at me! lol

Fuck you poor husbands, try being a nurse during that time of month when they all cycle together, they fucking play "destroy the man" games with me :(

I'm surprised I haven't been assaulted :(

I work part time in the nursing department of my college doing all sorts of work that involves working with nurses and nurses-in-training. Would have had no idea what you were talking about had I not taken this job.

I feel for you, I honestly can't believe how bad it can get. For me it's always about a week before the end of the money. They become unbearably snippy and crass towards me when its my job to help them! Geez!

As for my gf, she used to be really fussy on her period, and is about 3 days into it, but through the whole thing she's usually hornier than she is any other time of the month (She already has a higher sex drive than I do at this point).

So in a lot of ways she's fine, but you can tell when she wants to pick a fight, in which case I usually just say that I can tell she's on her period. She gets the point that she's being unnecessarily harsh and tones things down a bit.

Any other husbands here have a hard time "getting out of the way" when Aunt Flo makes her monthly visit?

I don't give her any slack. It's a total dick thing as far as she is concerned, apparently females should get special treatment. I do not make any concessions, treat her any better or worse than I normally would, simply because she is about to expel the lining of her uterus.

I wouldn't expect special treatment if every single month I shot hot blood from my penis for a few days either, and beforehand I was all pissy and crying and moody.

In fact instead of the logical "human" thing that most males do - and that is to compensate and tuck my head between my knees and take it up the ass from my wife, I simply hold my ground, and when she lets loose with female bullshit I retort. It's caused many fights, but one of these days one of us will learn. I'm hoping its her. She probably won't.

Lousy human physiology.

My wife is smart enough to know when it's the hormones talking and it isn't an issue.
