Weather in colorado is weird, I can say that much. It has been raining most of the day and then it stopped for an hour and I think everybody in the town decided it would be a good idea to walk their dog then.

haha yep.

Don't like the weather in CO?

Wait 5 minutes.

I saw your tire meets rock picture.

....did you not air down?

Guanella Pass isn't much of a trail 😛

Puncture, or did you just blow a bead?

haha, i punctured. and yes while it's not intense, it was my first try 🙂

Good spot for a first run 🙂

Next time (no matter how easy the trail is) air down to at least 20 PSI. That way your tire will give and not blow up. And a much smoother ride, not to mention a wider track which = better grip off road.

You can drive it on the road like that just fine, just have to go slower around corners. There's usually somewhere not too far that you can air back up again.

Shoot, I even air down for going camping on maintained dirt roads. They are washboarded, etc. and even though mostly flat it gives a much better ride and my gear doesn't rattle around all over the place that way either.

Nice. I'm about to go out and take some pics. I wish we had rocks here.

I have plenty of rocks here, unfortunately not a SUV though 🙁

Yeah, that's a problem for me too. It's muddy and swampy down here (Pics)). My 626 doesn't handle it well.

I'm also pissed that it's raining and crappy outside so I couldn't get any pics taken.

Colorado is on my short list of places I'd like to live.
