A few days ago I got home from school and noticed that I couldnt get online at all. I tried a lot of stuff; renewing IP address, even going so far as to try a different network card. Eventually I looked at the cable modem and realized that the cable LEd was blinking; meaning that we were discoed from the cable company. Since it was snowing quite heavily, I figured they had a power outage or something and went to bed. But alas!, it was the same thing the next day! So I called up RoadRunner and they said that we hadnt paid the bills in 3 months! So I told my mother this, and she got all pissy and declared that if I didnt stop "heckling" her she would cancel RR permantly..... Ok...... but she called the next day, they demanded full payment at the moment, but guess what? My mother spends so much fricken money on our 200 pets that she didnt have the money and had to pull money from my savings account that I was saving up for college to pay for it...
But the point is, my comp ran out of queued WUs on the second day and crunched nothing on the third and half of the 4th day. I have now upped my queue size to 20 just bin case that ever happens again.
