You really think so? Her story was boring enough when it got non-stop coverage on the news, no way can I see people watching a movie about her, let alone reading a book.

Does Wisconsin have a law against profiting from your crimes (by way of book/movie deals), or do those laws only apply to certain crimes?

I wonder if she'll ever get a full-time job after college.

good.

I was hoping they would charge her. personally i would like to see some personal suits against her for wasting time and money.

i hate to think what would have happened if they just happened to see someone that matches the description she gave. It could have ended deadly for whoever it was. False allegations should be punished as sever as the claim they made.

dumb b!tch. No sympathy for those that waste time, money, and resources. We have enough crime as it is.

I could have looked like the guy they were searching for becuase if I remember correctly, he was darkish and had a hood on which fits me pretty good

The prosecution and defense are working on a plea bargin.

Apparently she staged the abduction to get the attention of her exboyfriend.

Talk about an attention whore.

I think it's lame that she gets on cnn, while nobody outside of Wisconsin heard of the guy who was missing (who was just found dead) from LaCrosse.
