I got one of these after reading several reviews. Pretty decent sub for the money. It can be modified to give excellent sound for just a few bucks.

But, guess what Amazon decided to do? They changed the price right before shipping, $144.40 to $168.XX. They just left off the Gold Box Savings when they charged my credit card.

I emailed them (Don't they have any phones?) and warned them they were going to get a full chargeback form AMEX and the sub, if left on my doorstep without a signature, the big box was bound to be stolen (They pulled the switchero right when they shipped it). I told them if they didn't correct the problem immediately, I'd refuse delivery.

I still don't see the refund on my AMEX (I complained yesterday), but it shows up as a refund request on Amazon.

Anyone else get this treatment from Amazon?

I just got this sub a few days ago since it had all good reviews. I'm kinda dissapointed...not as much bass as i was hoping for. I still have to do the polyfill and foam mods though. Maybe its cuz I'm use to having two 12's in my car...maybe i jus need two 15's for my room?

This is a great sub. Of course, I've done some serious mods to mine:

1) additional polyfill

2) new driver - Dayton 15" DVC

As far as it having enough bass? Oh yeah! When my wife is upstairs in the kitchen, she's screaming at me to turn it down.

About the only thing I'd give my modified Audiosource up for would be an SV Subwoofer: SVS
