Audiophiles - any advice on new record player?

I'm trying to find a new record player under $120. Nothing too fancy. I just wanna listen to my vinyl. Any good websites at all? Any brand recomendations?

any of the technics line are good....the 1200 series is legendary for its bulletproof operation, but they would go for more than 120 in most cases, unless u happened to find a used one somewhere cheap.

oy...one of the better suppliers of high quality entry level tables is Sumiko, something like a Projekt 1.2

They also have a new line coming out marked quite low, available in all sorts of snazzy colors...but sadly, I don't know if it's released, when it's releasing or how much it'll be exactly.

I bought a used Technics SL1400 in mint condition for $75. very nice turntable

The old Dual's are decent. They don't tend to be too expensive anymore though, as most of them were belt drive which doesnt do much for DJ's. I've got one with a ortofon cart.. I think a lot of them were equipped with ortofon, which is pretty good stuff.
