LOL...saw it on your site, looks fricken huge! :Q You ever gonna paint or stain your stuff though?

I might bug you when im outta college though cause I may DIY for at least the sub then. I can't do it now...I already have enough problems with my neighbour here in the dorms ;)

It is pretty big, and it's heavy (around 80lbs with the sub + amp installed)

Shitty part is, the contact cement you gotta use to put on veneer (I have a roll of mahogany waiting downstairs) needs to be put on in at least 15c. But I still have to sand down all the rough edges, any imperfection makes the finish worse.
I'll paint the driver and amp panels, but everything else (everything visible basically) will be done in mahagony. Not too deep of a stain, but I'll put maybe 3-5 coats of clear for a sweet shine :)

LOL! I never had my neighbours complain, but I always check to see if their cars are parked in their driveway. Crappy part is that sometimes the park so far I can't see their car past the front edge of their house. Oh well :Q

I know a lot of people hate Polk Audio speakers but I own this set and they've always been good to me. I'm no audiophile, but in the 3 years I've had them they've never disappointed me while listening to any CD or DVD. You might want to check out this or this set of HT speakers. They're in the $1000-1500 range.

Miller & Kreisel make a couple nice sets of sub/sats for ~1500 or less (or more, as well).

I have two sets, 17s and 150THx , both 5.1 systems.

Check their website, or someplace like abtelectronics.com.

Good Luck

Scott
