Hey so I built my pc two days ago and I don't have speakers so my sound comes out of my monitor, but I have a headset and the razer lycosa. The problem is I don't know how to get the sound to those things or my mic to work for that matter. Please tell me what's happening. Thanks

What operating system are you running? Specify.

As for the sound not working on your monitor, I suggest you go to the manufacturer's website and download the drivers for it.

I'm running windows 7 and the sound is coming from the monitor. I just cannot use the lycosa audio and mic ports or the back of the case for that matter to use my headphones and mic

1) How is your monitor connected?

I'm using HDMI and the audio goes through that as well. The possibility here is that the audio drivers for the actual audio system (e.g. Realtek) are not installed, hence no sound through audio ports.

2) If you go to the Sound control panel (Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Manage Audio Devices) and check what you have in the Playback tab.

3) Check in Device Manager to see if there are any yellow exclamation marks/drivers installed

This is just to check the basic audio hardware/drivers. If these check out, then we need to look deeper.

I will have to look for more details on the Razer Lycosa as I'm not sure what that is...
