Audio Stops Working

Ok so I have the Epox 9NPA-Ultra and after every restart of my computer or sometimes even while the system is running I find that the computer saying there is no sound device installed. I have installed the Realtek drivers from the Epox website but there not working at all. This is becoming a bugging issue because I am using this for a PVR type setup and I have to keep reinstalling the drivers and it is annoying. Am I using the right drivers for the on board audio? Or am I missing something? Please let me know!

Maybe a BIOS issue? Try flashing to the newest stable BIOS or maybe even reflashing with the current BIOS.

Good luck.

I tried both updating the bios and the drivers and still I am not finding any way on not having the audio stop working after each install. Are there any other drivers I could install, or some other idea?

I had the same issue as you, but to my bad luck, my onboard sound gaved up and I had to get a dedicated sound card. I have two boards with onboard Realtek audio, and both gave out pretty fast. *SIGH*
