Audio Problem

Hey guys I just switched my Audigy ZS2 for a M-Audio Sound card due to my Counterstrike source freezeing in game .. when i used my onboard audio everything was fine..

I bought these cards and it freezes randomly non-stop..

Formatted Nothing...

Disabled onboard audio threw bios and windows.. Nothing

Flashed MB bios to 1.8 .. Nothing...

Can anyone help?

i actually went to a audigy 2 zs from a m-audio revolution 7.1.
maybe the freezing isnt from the sound card?
But then looking at your components, you got all quality stuff so not really sure.
maybe it's heat? or if you havnt already, dl latest drivers from manufacture website. I had no problems with neither soundcard.

Everything is running at stock speeds.. and everything is the latest drivers...

doubt its a heat issue since the case has 7 fans inside...

Yea I've done it and it does go away thats the weird part.. the onboard audio works fine but the moment i disable it in bios/windows and insert the card.. its game over!

Overclocked? If so drop it back to normal and see if that fixes it.
Anything monitoring temps?
Is it a permenant hang or does it eventually come back?
