Audio jack size?

What size is the audio jack on the back of a motherboard?
Is it 3.5 mm?
I imagine they are all the same size but my board is an ASUS P5B-Deluxe.

My optical port seems to have worn out and I need to get audio to my receiver.

Thanks.

Yep it will be 3.5mm, or commonly referred to as 1/8".

There is a smaller version but it's rarely used outside of cell phones/other micro gadgets.

Yep 3.5mm is the standard used on most electronics. As Viper mentioned some phones and other really small gadgets use 2.5mm. Then there is the 5.25mm used in high-end audio equipment. All carry the same signals and are interchangeable with adapters. 3.5 to 5.25 and vice verse are cheap and readily available.
