Audio Issues

Hello,
I am using an old Asus k8v-mx mobo and just installed win 7 on it. It runs fine but there is no audio. Has anyone had any success using the onboard realtek 97 audio with windows 7? I have tried all day to find a usable driver but no luck. Thanks in advance for any insight to this problem.

Realtek ac97 drivers from their website should do the trick. Not the HD audio ones.
