audio interference with wireless

I have a dell inspiron 4150 with an internal mini-pci wifi card running off a netgear mr814 router. whenever i have wireless activity (surfing, d/ling, whatever), there is this terrible interference on the headphone jack, like this high pitched whining. anyone else run into this?
