Right. I haven't heard them.

Some drawbacks include size (they're basically bookshelf speakers with a built in amp) and to get bass below 50hz you're going to want to add a sub to them.

Lots of options out there beyond the usual Logitech/Klipsch offerings.

Bookshelf speakers + a sub would be a nice combo though.

I don't like fanboism, but I think I'll step up here. I just bought a pair of the M200s. I would describe them as sounding really true. Using a tone generator I've found they will go down to 49Hz at a decent volume (with onboard sound). I can't compair em to any of the other recommendations, but I'll tell you getting these has made me have to re-encode all my music from hq mp3s to flac. You can tell the difference now with these speakers.
