Audio guys, where do I buy professional audio CD recorder?

I tape quite a bit of stuff off the radio such as useful car repair talk, funny talk shows and unidentified songs I like so I can identify it later. I've been using cassette tape for ages and still do. I'll get a new player that can read CD-RW and would like to change cassettes to CD-RW and CD-R's. I'm not going to bother wtih sourcing sound into CD, recording to wav then burning, because it's too much PITA. Consumer stand-alone recorders only allow recording on Audio Only CD for royalty reason. Professional model can however record to any CD's. I'm interested in getting a professional model. Where can I get one that doesn't cost a grand?
