Audio connector help please!

I would like to connect my sound card to my stereo system. Is there some kind of audio cable that will do this? I have no idea what kind of cable I would use. Thanks for any help!

probably a cable with 1/8" stereo male on one end and dual RCA male on the other

(print this out and take it to radio shack)

Probably not. Most stereo system amps take RCA-in (dual RCA male: one for left channel one for right), and not your regular stereo headphone 1/8" connectors.

Although if you could get a decent (mini-stereo plug-->dual RCA male) adaptor from Radio Shack, the headphone extension cord can be used.
