Audio cable: Where to buy optical toslink and sub cable?

And those of you like Viperoni saying how i should use coat hangers, go away, don't crap on my thread.

I just want to know if anybody can suggest a site to look at that sells toslink cables and sub cables. I just don't feel good buying the really really cheap ones.

You can buy those at pretty much any audio store. I think the Wiz has them too. If you want a web site, try going to 6ave.com should have them, or hifi.com

yeah, but at the same time, i don't want to get killed on prices, and I know I don't need Monster cables, both due to the fact that there's not a big enough difference, and especially not on current system. Just wanted something around 30-40 for both.

Dood, I'm not saying you should use a coat hanger, and I wouldn't even use a coat hanger myself.
I'd just get a half decent video cable (video cable because it can handle the higher bandwidth of the digital signal)

Oh yeah, and if you want an optical digital cable....i can't see how a coat hanger would work anyways

I bought my toslink cable for $5.
I suggest you do the same.
I think CC or BB has the RCA brand toslink's very cheap.

Oh yeah, and when installing them, make sure you dont bend it too much (apparently the fibres are sensitive to bending)

As for my sub cable, I bought a 25 foot AR sub cable.
Found it at the discount rack at a BB at least 2 years ago for $5.
I was a happy camper

damn you Viperoni and your luck......stupid sub cables are like 20 bucks now, even for AR. All I'm asking for is 12 feet......but I think i found a site, we'll see. Thanks for all your responses anyway.

AR cable's are built nice and solid though
I think they're worth the extra price just for that
