Audio and Frames per second

Currently i use the MSI Neo2 Onboard AC97. I found an old Audigy 1394 card laying around and was wondering what kinds of increases would i see by using it instead. If im not mistaken it is the original Audigy. It is the SB0090 card.

I remember that onboard sound used to cost you 5-10 frames per second over a Soundblaster, didnt know if that was still the case.
