Audigy2

obviously in my sig i have klipsch 5.1 and audigy2 ZS. When i watch movies i get the same sound out of all speakers, which is not true surround sound. Do i need a audigy 2 pro with the decoder? Can anybody elaborate on this a little bit for me? thanks

If you are intending to play DVDs with 5.1 or DTS Surround Sound, then you need an audio decoder box that will accept SPDIF pass through from your sound card.

Klipsch used to offer a decoder for the Promedia series that would offer separate channels for your speakers. I just looked at their site and the unit is not currently available. Perhaps you can find one one eBay. I think they used to sell for about $100-$200 new, but I could be low (going from memory).
