audigy platinum+klipsh 5.1+xbox optical out+?=sound

what do i need to do to get my xbox to play thru my speakers on my computer. i connect the optical out cable to the optical in on the front of the audigy box, this is as far as i get, i have no sound from the xbox. i get other sounds so the speakers are hooked up correctly. what am i missing.
 
it works, it works. i dont what the problem was before but after i reinstalled windows and all my core software i was able to get it to play my xbox sound. i found that the spdif volume is what controls it. and for some reason at first it seemed to be always muted whenever window would start, it dont do that anymore though. anywho the sound is great, watch the titanic and was impressed.
