Audigy or Audigy 2 vs Soundstorm question

Was thinking of purchasing an Audigy or Audigy 2 but how do they compare?

Is it worth the money to purchase an add on card?

So far my Soundstorm has been great. Just wanting to get some opinions before I purchase.

i would stick with the soundstorm. my brother uses it... and even though hes using the analog dac it sounds fine. no point in spending more money. buy better speakers if you don't have decent ones. 🙂

Thanks for the reply. Right now i'm using my Altec headphones. I want some speaks but i'm afraid my roomate is gonna throw a hissy fit so i'm stickin with the headphones. But i'm noticing some crackles sometimes when I play some cs. I think i need to cool my southbridge but I haven't found a good cooling solution to fit underneath the Artic Silencer.

if its just for headphones get that Chaintech audio card I heard its great for headphones and only costs like 25 bucks
