Audigy Gamer and X-Gamer

Does anyone know what the difference is between these? I had always thought that the X-Gamer was a SB Live! product, and the Gamer was an Audigy. Until I saw this...

Audigy X-Gamer?

Then there's the "normal" Audigy Gamer.

I'm really puzzled... the boxes look exactly the same except that the X-Gamer one has an X on it. It could be photoshopped but why go through the trouble?

I think it was something to do with the x-gamer sounding too much like a music soundcard and not a gamers sound card. So they changed the name to "gamer". As far as I know there is no difference, its only a marketing thing.
